Schools teach us from preschool, kindergarten and on through college how to add and subtract numbers, how to speak and to write languages, how to draw and create science and art…

But they don’t teach us that in the real world people are money hungry, power hungry, hungry for violence, hungry for rape, hungry for self-destruction, hungry for happiness, hungry for light where it is dark, hungry for family, hungry for food, and flat out hungry for life…

Yeah… Math, languages, art, science… Sometimes it gets people through life. It gets people through the hard times. And sometimes it just gets people jobs to get to the next part in their life. But we never learn the fundamentals from our teachers.

We teach this to ourselves.
And it’s to ourselves that we have to ask if we want to truly be educated and get an education.
And take that action into our own hands and minds to really learn and act on it.
