Boy Meets World: Killer Bees

Cory: [Minkus] would've brought home the big six, wouldn't he have?
Mr. Feeny: Very likely.
Cory: Well, I want you to know that I tried my hardest.
Mr. Feeny: Did you? You really feel you gave it your best? That you studied as hard as you possibly could?
Cory: Yeah, I do.
Mr. Feeny: You know, Mr. Matthews, many 15th century explorers believed that geography meant taking their little boat as far as it could go before it fell off the Earth. You have pushed yourself to your farthest latitudes. And not only did you not topple over the edge, but I believe, together, we have charted new territory.
 (hands Cory a piece of paper)
Cory: What's this?
Mr. Feeny: That is this week's geography exam.
Cory: I got an A?
Mr. Feeny: Yes. It's an A. Congratulations Mr. Matthews.
 (Mr. Feeny takes a look over at the 'Regional Geography Tournament' awards board, takes Cory's exam, and pins it up on the empty sixth award spot)
Mr. Feeny: We won.

Boy Meets World: Cory's Alternative Friends

Topanga: You did great Cory.
Cory: It was kinda cool staring down an angry mob. I never knew I had it in me.
Topanga: Sometimes the reluctant warrior is the bravest warrior.
 (Topanga stares/smiles at Cory)
Cory: You're not gunna like kiss me now are you?
Topanga: Would it be your first kiss?
Cory: Hey! Don't come near me!
 (Cory tries to break free from the handcuffs)
Topanga: Because it would be interesting if all your life you remembered that your first kiss happened when you thought you looked weird, wouldn't it?
Cory: No! It wouldn't be interesting! Get away!
Topanga: Because then you'd know, it's not what you look like on the outside that matters. It's what kind of person you are.
Cory: You shouldn't kiss somebody you're not married to.
Topanga: Hmm. Yeah. I would have to feel I really knew the person, and that I liked him.
Cory: (relieved) Good.
Topanga: Good.
 (Topanga kisses Cory)
 (Cory's frozen)
Topanga: It was my first one too.

Mr. Feeny: You see, Mr. Matthews, education is not about obscure facts and little test scores. Education is about the overall effect of years of slow absorption of concepts, philosophies, approaches to problem solving. The whole process is so grand, all encompassing that it really can be threatened by the occasional late-night no-hitter. It is important that a boy spend time with his father.
Cory: But how do you know that? Your dad didn't let you stay up with him.
Mr. Feeny: That's precisely why I do know.

Boy Meets World: On the Fence

Cory: Say you could pick any super hero to be your dad. Who would you choose?
Friend: Batman, no question. Live in a cool cave. Ball the bat mobile.
Shawn: He let's Robin hang out with him and play with all his stuff, and Robin's not even his real kid. He's his ward.
Friend: How do you get to be a ward?
Cory: Batman? Is he faster than a speeding bullet? I don't think so. Is he more powerful than a locomotive? Uh-uh. I'd want Superman.
Shawn: He sees through walls. He'd never get away with anything.
Friend: Because I'd make somebody a very cool ward.
Cory: I'd like to have Superman for a dad.

Cory: The water war to end all water wars. Both sides are claiming victory. (Squeezes water out of shirt onto Eric's face, who's lying down on the bed)
Eric: I'd kill you but I can't move. Bagging groceries. Chasing carts. Price checks. 'Spill on aisle 7!' Oh, it's a nightmare. I only worked half a shift today. I don't know how he does it.
Cory: Who?
Eric: Dad. Twelve hour days. Never sits. Eats his lunch standing up. Never takes a break. It's like he's not human. It's like he's some--
Cory: It's like he's superman.
Eric: Huh?
Cory: Superman's my dad.

Boy Meets World: Pilot

Mr. Feeny: You come into my classroom at the beginning of the year and at the end you go. And I really don't know if from the time we've spent together I have taught you anything! Well this afternoon, Mr. Matthews, you are going to learn something from me! Do I have your attention?
Cory: Yes sir.
Mr. Feeny: I live on the other side of the fence from you, Cory. And it's impossible not to face in your direction every once in a while and notice the people in the next yard. And through the years I've got to know them. It is apparent that they are fine individuals. But their real strength comes from being a family. And do you know why they are a family Cory? Because at one time a man and a woman realized that they loved each other, and pursued the unlimited potential of what may come from that love. And here you are. There is no greater aspiration than to have love in our lives, Mr. Matthews. Romeo knew it and died for it. Others know it and... prepare salads. And those who don't know it will sit in detention for the rest of their lives.

i love love love christmas <3 okay i’m done with going photo crazy for today. i kinda got some ideas on things to draw, photos to take, and essays to write (not). but man i saw a house today in my old neighborhood. they went all out on their house decorations, so we purposely drove by twice haha so that we could take one more glance at it. only thing i hate about christmas this year.....
